Haunted Mansion is by far my favorite attraction in Disneyworld. I know how alll the stuff is done, and all the stories behind the ghosts, but no, I can't name all 999 happy haunts. If/when I go back, I plan on riding this until I know it by heart. Obsessed? Perhaps, but it's so amazing I don't think I could not be.
Here's what Madame Leota says when you enter the seance room.

6:01 pm - A Year Gone
|
As I look back upon my year gone by I realize that my life has been pretty weird. I'm at Westfield College, almost done with school (until the Masters), I've held my jib at Payless for a year and 5 months, and I'm still with Matt.
As far as everything else, I'm still doing stage stuff, I'm still close with Amanda, and now Craig and Fanboy have entered my life again. Really, I couldn't be more greatful for them. They make me feel like I'm worth something when others make me feel small and weak.
I wish I could say that I accomplished more this year, but my big achievements aren't that great. I passed one of my two MTELs, the Communication & Literacy, with one more to go. Yay subject matter. Great. I still haven't got a license, but that's my summer goal so I can go visit people. I finally made it to Disneyworld, which was amazing and a nice change. Dean's list for the fourth year running.
What I hated about this year: The death of Nick. I can't believe he's gone. It's hard to look back and realize he's not here. He's not in the hospital, he's gone. Sometimes I think he's still around us, laughing with us and helping us through our days. I still feel horribly empty without him, and I can't even imagine the pain Amanda is still feeling. If I learned anything this year, it was that Nick was a huge part of everyones lives, and he'll be the first one waiting for us when it's our turn to leave this world. You are missed dearly Nick.
But we move on, and we live our lives. Right now I'm just happy this year is almost over. I'm trying like mad to get into the holiday spirit, and my fanclub is doing everything in their power to help me get jolly. Thanks to Rayvin and Edward for making me smile and keeping me going. Thanks to Feronia and Shadow for keeping it real. I hope next year is as amazing as my dreams tell me, and I hope everyone reading this has a dream come true.

I FUCKING HATE MY JOB!!
Ok, so last night I closed with the assistant manager Chris. Chris is cool and a friend of mine. That was fine. Apparently though Chris had to ring all the customers because I'm no longer allowed to us the register. Supposedly I don't know what I'm doing, in my Manager Seth's words to Chris "an incident" happened earlier when Chris was on break.
Said incident: I forgot how to ring a promotional item. Wanna know why? The last time I used the register was 3 weeks ago! How the hell am I supposed to remember when I don't get to practice?!!
Anyway, I'm trying to get a job at Payless, where the people there actually like me. Oh, did I forget to mention the fact that most of my co-workers don't like me, for no good reason? It's like Fucking high school all over again.
A few of them like me, and they all want to quit too. Why? Because we're sick of being treated like shit by the people who fucking attitude problems. This isn't high school dammit. I just want out of there now. Fuck them.
So I'm going for the 2nd part of my interview at Payless tomorrow, where they will hopefully like me, so that Jen at the Hadley store can hire me and give me hours. The girls there are all geeks like me, and to be honest, I never want to fold clothes again!
That's my beginning of a busy and kinda shitty week. Great way to end your summer huh?

So I got my Associates Degree on Saturday. Going to Westfield State in the Fall. I should be more enthusiastic, but I'm stressed out and fatigued by a vast number of problems, many of which are not mine but have become mine due to personal involvement. In other words, I'm dealing with everyone else's shit again. Gosh I love being dumped on by my family and friends. If you're desperate to know what I'm talking about, because you're nosy or concerned, please let me know.

So ok. I went and saw "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" with Craig last night.
Overall, I enjoyed the movie, but yeah, it did have it's faults. All movies do.

8:00 pm - It's been a while

So...I'm doing this now because tomorrow I won't be able to as SHHS has blocked...everything. Their blockers and firewalls have killed my interest in the web while subbing. I can't even look at imdb. IMDB!!!!! Come on now!! I can't look at actor's resumes and coming attractions. That leaves me with animenewsnetwork.com , superherohype.com , and if I'm really bored, wikipedia. Seriously. This is what's killing our young people. They get all pissed because they can't check their email and then they start shooting people. It's a proven fact...somewhere. Anyway...
Right. Let me get to it. I hate my mom. How many times have you heard that by now? Well, it's a whole bunch of true. I don't wanna get into it, but I just thought I'd refresh everyone's memories.

Appearently during the numerous sucky commercials that aired during the Super Bowl, there was one that caused an uproar. Snickers filmed a commercial which featured two guys kissing while eating a snickers (a la Lady and the Tramp). The two guys get all confused and do something "manly" after. Appearently there was some tv clip of the NFL players watching the commercial and being "grossed out" which is causing all sorts of issues concerning gay-bashing. there were also alternate endings, one of which the "something manly" was to beat the other guy with a wrench and car hood. So...
Monday: School, and enjoying not doing much
Tuesday: Subbed for Beth Ayn Curtis at South Hadley High, then found out my dad was in the ER again.
Wednesday: Had a very successful Club Fair @ HCC, and visited Dad
Thursday: Slept in, visited Dad, took care of my school work
Friday: Visited Dad, found out he won't be home until tomorrow, killed my knee, found out I have 3 tests next Friday, and I still need a job.
Pretty crummy. Hopefully it will get better from here. And I forgive everyone who forgot my birthday.

So yesterday was my 21st birthday. Surprise surprise no one called. Thanks guys. Love you too.
Anyway, besides from being a lackluster landmark birthday, I did enjoy my dinner that mom made me and the two drinks I had at Applebees with Matt, Lunchbox, and Mike. To everyone else that neglected to remember...grrr. Especially if you are my friend on myspace. Because they shpw you your friends upcoming birthdays. Seriously guys. Not even a text? Geez. The only people who wished me happy birthday, other than the three I went out with was Nick. Poohs, you didn't even call me. :( I was a sad girl yesterday. But whatever. I expect everyone to make it up to me with booze. Right now.

So, after going to bed at 3:15, my door was flung open at 6:25 with my mom shoving a phone in my face, telling me the high school wanted me to sub. So here I am, sitting in one of the art teachers rooms, making sure that the kids don't kill each other. Fun. Aaaaannnnnnnddddd, I wicked tired. Also, I plan on napping when I get home.
PS: The only thing I really liked better about the middle school kids was that they didn't swear whereas some of these kids drop the f-bomb every other word....thanks to music and movies and poor role models for making the future of our country into low life shallow punkasses.

So it's been a while. I survived Christmas with the family, my dad's better and on a moniter, and I got all A's again. Typical. Right now I'm unstable in the finance department, as Waldenbooks will most likely let me go at the end of January. If anyonw knows any place that's hiring let me know.
Also, my 21st birthday is 12 days away. That's pretty cool I must say. Nothing spectacluar as I'm not an alcoholic, but pretty cool anyway.
January 22nd marks my (hopefully) last semester at HCC, and my return to school as the remaining co-president of the Anime Club. Aka, I'm in charge. *Shudder* how scary is that? I think it's almost as scary as me being left in charge of children as a substitute. Anyway...now I have to run the meetings and keep the club members in line. I think I can handle that.
To be honest though, my life doesn't seem much different. It doesn't even feel like January, with its 50-degree-no-snow-sunny-ness. I rang in the New Year with Poohs, Matt and Nick, and we played board and videogames. Nothing special. My life is relativly calm for an almost 21 year old. Really.
Right now I need to do other things, like get a drink, so I'll update again later in the week...I think.

My dad's in the hospital. His heart rate went over the charts and mom had to take him to the ER. He has Arterial Flutters, which I've discovered are really bad palpitations that can lead to a heart attack. Needless to say my mom, myself and dad are all scared shitless. He's going to be at the hospital for a few days for observation, and I'm a but freaked out still. I'm mostly worried, but at least this will cause him and mom to finally quit smoking. Anyway, I miss him already. :(

11:35 pm - Busy Week

This week and the past weekend was sure busy. I did so much, my head is still feeling all explody. The nice thing is that it's almost over, and Saturday I'm going to King Richard's Faire with Matt! I can't wait! My dress is beautiful; red velvet with black piping and lace trim and it laces up the back and front. Gorgeous.
So, the little pink haired girl on my user pic is my costume for Anime Boston 2007. Meroko from "Full Moon Wo Sagashite". She's a cute bunny demon, and I can't wait until the costume is finished. I've got most of the pieces, all I'm waiting on is the wig, boots, gloves, and skirt. I'm going to use a Dr. Seuss hat and re wrap it in red fabric, and then just dye everything and cover the boots. My only real issue is trying to get the bunny ears to go through the hat and still stay on my head. Oh well, I'll worry later.
More later, my head hurts.
